Notes of Interest

These were tubular and segmented beads, created by the Chinese and Asian cultures.  They were a "tube in tube" construction with a gold layer between the tubes which were then "crimped" together.  However, there have been some found, where the metallic hue was created with the colors of glass used, and also some that are blue in color.
